Clinics

New patients without breaking the healthcare advertising rules

Dental, physiotherapy, medical and aesthetic clinics, and psychology practices. Websites that explain each treatment clearly and show up when people search in your area.

In healthcare, trust is earned with clarity, not promises

Anyone searching for “physiotherapist in Vila-real” or “dental implants in Castellón” compares profiles, reviews and websites. They choose whoever explains most clearly what will be done and who will do it.

Many clinic websites fall into one of two extremes: treatment catalogues with no content, or promises the regulations do not allow. Neither persuades patients nor ranks well.

Healthcare advertising has strict rules, and a website that respects them also comes across as serious and professional.

What we do for your sector

  1. 01

    One page per treatment

What it is, who it is suitable for, what the process involves and who carries it out. Without promising results.

  2. 02

    The team, by name

Each professional with their name, membership number and qualification, plus their official specialty if they have one. That builds trust, and it is what the codes of professional conduct ask for.

  3. 03

    Google Business Profile and reviews

A complete profile, the right categories and a system for requesting reviews within Google’s policy and your professional rules.

  4. 04

    AI visibility

Get Gemini or ChatGPT to mention you when someone asks for a clinic like yours in your city.

  5. 05

    Easy booking from a phone

Call, WhatsApp or a form, one tap away, with each enquiry tracked so you know which treatments bring in patients.

What the rules require of a clinic website

Healthcare registration number

Only authorised centres may advertise healthcare activity, and they must include in their advertising the registration number of their autonomous community, under article 6.2 of Royal Decree 1277/2003 (Real Decreto 1277/2003). On the website, the cautious approach is to put it in the footer so it appears on every page. Your patients can check it in the national register of healthcare centres.

No guaranteed cures

Royal Decree 1907/1996 (Real Decreto 1907/1996) prohibits advertising that offers assurances of certain relief or cure (article 4.4). It also prohibits using testimonials from patients, professionals or celebrities to encourage consumption (article 4.7), although how far it applies to an authorised centre is open to debate.

Each profession’s code of conduct

If there are doctors at your clinic, the 2022 Code of Medical Ethics (Código de Deontología Médica) calls for objective, prudent and truthful advertising (articles 88 to 93). Each doctor must appear with their membership number and their specialty. The Code also rules out using real patients to encourage consumption, and attracting patients on price. Dentists, physiotherapists and psychologists have their own codes, and in dentistry there are no official specialties.

In the Valencian Community

The Generalitat Valenciana (the regional government) has the power to regulate and control healthcare advertising, under article 5.10 of Valencian Law 10/2014 on health (Ley 10/2014 de Salud). All centre authorisations are entered in the regional register.

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers to what people ask us before we start.

Can I put patient reviews on my website?

With great caution. The codes for doctors and dentists rule out using patients as a draw, and Royal Decree 1907/1996 prohibits using their testimonials to encourage consumption. The reviews on your profile are written by patients on Google, but when you copy them onto your website they become your advertising. The cautious approach is to link to your profile.

Can I publish prices?

It depends on your profession. The codes for doctors and physiotherapists consider it contrary to professional ethics to attract patients by advertising prices. Those for dentists and psychologists do not prohibit it. If you publish them, give the final price including tax.

Where do I put the healthcare registration number?

Royal Decree 1277/2003 requires it to be included in the advertising of authorised centres, without distinguishing between formats. The cautious approach is to put it in the footer so it appears on every page, including the contact page and your ads’ landing pages.

Do you run ads for clinics?

Yes, with care: Google has its own policies for healthcare content and Spanish regulations also apply to ads. We check Google’s policies before launching anything, and your clinic approves the copy and landing pages.

Can patients in your area find you?

Tell us which treatments you offer and in which city. We review your website and your profile and tell you what we would change first.
