Get AI tools to recommend you when people ask about what you do
ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google’s AI Overviews already recommend businesses by name. We measure whether you appear, whom they recommend instead of you and which sources they use. And we work on those sources.
Google is no longer the only one making recommendations
Some people no longer search Google for “accountant in Valencia”. They ask an AI tool to recommend an accountant for their company. The answer is not a list of ten links: it is three or four names. If yours is not there, you do not even get to compete.
AI tools do not know you: they look you up. ChatGPT searches the web and cites its sources, Perplexity numbers the sources of each answer and Google uses its index for its AI features. If what they find about you is scarce, confusing or contradictory, they recommend someone else.
Answers also change: the same question can produce different names. That is why we measure several times and talk about how often you appear, not about promises. OpenAI says it plainly: a position is not guaranteed.

How we do it
- 001
Baseline measurement
We put the questions your clients would ask, by speciality and city, to ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google, several times each. We note whether you appear, in what position, whom they recommend and which sources they cite.
- 002
Your website, easy to understand and to cite
We check that your website states clearly, in text, what you do, for whom and where. We make sure that neither your robots.txt nor your hosting or Cloudflare blocks AI search crawlers such as OAI-SearchBot or PerplexityBot. And we use Search Console to check that your website is included in Google’s AI features.
- 003
The sources that carry weight in your sector
We work on the sources AI tools cite for your sector and your city: Google Business Profile, Bing Places, directories, professional associations, reviews and local press. Listings, corrections and content.
- 004
Content that answers questions
We publish pages and articles that answer your clients’ real questions, with sentences that make sense on their own. That is what an AI tool can cite.
- 005
Monthly tracking
We repeat the measurement every month with the same questions to track progress. We cross-check the results against visits from AI tools in your analytics and against Search Console’s generative AI report.
What you get
- AI visibility report by engine: questions, answers, position and competitors
- List of the sources AI tools cite for your sector and your city
- Technical review: robots.txt, Cloudflare or hosting, structured data and indexable text
- Prioritised action plan: what to change first and why
- Listings and corrections on Google Business Profile, Bing Places and key directories
- New content focused on your clients’ questions
- Monthly measurement with the same questions, visits from AI tools in Analytics and Search Console’s generative AI report
Who it is for and who it is not for
It is a good fit if…
- Your clients research before hiring and may ask an AI tool.
- You already work on SEO, or want to, and do not want to be left out of AI search.
- You want to know what AI tools say about your business and your competitors.
It is not a good fit if…
- You want a guarantee that you will appear in ChatGPT. Nobody can guarantee that.
- You want tricks to “fool” the AI. They do not work and can harm you.

Frequently asked questions
Straight answers to what people ask us before we start.
What is GEO?
It stands for generative engine optimisation: the work of getting AI-powered engines, such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini or Google’s AI Overviews, to mention your business in their answers. It shares a foundation with SEO, but it measures and works on different things.
Can you guarantee that ChatGPT will recommend me?
No. Nobody can: answers change and each platform applies its own criteria. What we do is measure rigorously where you appear, work on what influences it and show you the progress every month.
How do you know which sources AI tools use?
Because they cite them. ChatGPT with search, Perplexity, Gemini and Google’s AI Overviews show links to the sources they used. By asking many questions from your sector, repeatedly, you can see which websites carry the most weight.
Does GEO replace SEO?
No. Google says that to appear in its AI features a page must be indexed and meet the usual Google Search requirements. Without an SEO foundation, GEO has little to work with.
Should I block or allow AI bots?
If you want to appear in answers that use search, do not block search crawlers such as OpenAI’s OAI-SearchBot or PerplexityBot. Training crawlers, such as GPTBot, are controlled separately. We explain what each option involves.
Does Google show whether you appear in its AI answers?
Partly. Since 31 August 2026, Search Console has had a generative AI performance report. It shows your website’s impressions in AI Overviews and in AI Mode. For now it does not show clicks or queries, so we complement it with repeated tests.
Is an llms.txt file any use?
Google says no special file is needed to appear in its AI features, and OpenAI and Perplexity do not ask for one in their guides. It is not what moves the needle: what counts is the content, the profile and the sources that talk about you.
