Is there a phrase on your website that you should not publish?
Paste the text of your website, an ad or a social media post. We flag the phrases worth reviewing for a law firm, a clinic, a financial advisory firm or an insurance brokerage, with the rule behind each one. It is for guidance only: it flags phrases, it does not decide for you.
Result
The tables in our guides, applied to your text
Each warning comes from the “yes, no and with care” tables in these guides, with its rule linked and checked against the source:
- Advertising for lawyers
- Healthcare advertising
- A physiotherapist’s website
- A psychologist’s website
- Marketing for financial advisers
- An insurance brokerage’s website
“No” means the guide advises against it on the basis of a clear rule. “With care” means it depends on whether you can prove it or on how you present it. The checker does not understand context: a match is not always a problem, and a text with no warnings is not always correct.
Frequently asked questions
Straight answers to what people ask us before we start.
What exactly does it check?
It looks for specific expressions that our advertising guides mark as “no” or “with care”: promises of results, “specialist”, superlatives, “free”, false urgency, guaranteed returns or incentives for reviews. Each warning comes with the rule and the guide where it is explained.
If it flags nothing, does my text comply?
Not necessarily. It only recognises phrases; it does not understand the context, the design or what is missing, such as your professional association (colegio), your registration number or the details required by the Information Society Services Law (LSSI). That is what the checklists in each guide are for.
Does it replace advice from my professional association or a lawyer?
No. It helps you avoid missing risky phrases. The decision about what you publish is yours, and if in doubt you should consult your professional association or your adviser.
Do you store the text I paste?
No. The check runs in your browser. If you accept analytics, we only record that you have used the tool, never the text.
Shall we go over your website with you?
We prepare your website copy with your sector’s rules in mind, and you or your adviser approve it before it goes live.
