Zoundroom, an app for writing songs and organising your music.

(Before)
Zoundroom had a good product, but the website did not live up to it. It did not clearly explain what the app did or who it was for, and it had no content to make it show up in searches.
(During)
We migrated the website from Framer to custom code while keeping its rankings, and built a multilingual blog organised by topic, aimed at the searches of people who write music.
(After)
A website consistent with the product and a blog that works as an organic visibility channel, on Google and in AI answers.

Our own project

Zoundroom is an app for writing songs and organising your music, and it is our team’s own project. We say so because it is the honest thing to do, and because it is our testing ground: what works here in SEO and AI visibility, we then apply for clients.

From Framer to code, without losing rankings

The website was built in Framer. We moved it to custom code (Astro, hosted on Cloudflare) and the switch was completed in July 2026. Before the switch we listed every URL and prepared a table of 301 redirects with automated tests, so that no page that gets visits would end up returning an error.

It is the same process we explain in the guide to changing your website without losing rankings, and the one we use with clients.

A blog in 6 languages, with a seventh on the way

The blog has around 120 articles in each main language: Spanish, English, French, Portuguese, German and Catalan. Italian is on the way. Each article addresses a specific task for people who make music: writing lyrics, choosing chords, organising voice notes or sharing an unreleased song.

Each translation goes through a draft and a validation step before it is published: links, URL collisions between languages and consistency with the original.

SEO and GEO decisions

  • Explaining the product in one sentence. The home page says what the app does and who it is for before showing features. It is the first thing a person reads and the first thing an AI understands when it summarises the website.
  • URLs translated for each language, not just the text, so that each version answers the searches of its market.
  • Text that can be quoted on its own, which is how AI tools extract information for their answers.
  • Links between articles and the product, so that a visitor who arrives with a question ends up getting to know the app.
